 :)  :D  When new in the rooms of NA and recovery ,don't be overwhelmed by all these sayings and verses recited by the group .They come when you feel safe and are ready to change you life and ways . You have to listen , because every good addict thinks there way is the best,probably not . I attended 90 meetings in 90 days,I wanted to walk out a few times .It was the only 90 days clean I had had in 39 years of using. If you're here for the best change you could do for yourself ,were here to help you ..Learning HONESTY,OPENMINDEDNESS,and WILLINGNESS are 3 important things in recovery. We have to stop lying to ourselves.  :D  :)
Being stuck way up north I read literature do service in my area,region,and homegroup.New friends new ways of life.Left old friend out there same old story they have .Like helping newcomers , I was one once,have to give back what was freely given to me .
