Can you get high on baking soda a parent asks
« Reply #1 on: November 02, 2012, 11:45:30 PM »
"I have found that our 16 year old son has been taking boxes of baking soda,at least a container full a week has been disappearing.I have asked around London, and no one seems to have heard of this as a legal high.I am not sure what to do.
Has anyone ever said,or asked about it to you?Could it hurt him?:

Well I have heard of baking soda abuse, but none of the research that I have done has shown me any proof.
I would truly suggest an honest talk about it,and truly ask him,or find some one to try to do it for you,a friend, someone that he would be open to talking with that would be neutral.
I have done some on line research with Google and Bing, and as far as I can tell by my readings,we are allowed to post back links to other sites that are on topic mentioned.

But really find out,no second guessing.Honest communication to me can be tough, but I would try my best to get that going as soon as you can.
Any feedback is welcomed.
We are not experts, just addicts,so the more research you do the more you will find.
