It was primarily written for those with many years clean.
I do not know if it was published to be read in meetings or not.My home group has 2 sections, one especially for newcomers, and a literature study in the back ,where we do one section in the Basic Text one week, then the sponsorship book one week, and now we have begun reading living clean.
But our group is a literature study group.

 8) 8) 8) 8)  I am asking this question because some groups use it instead of the Basic Text . I think the Basic Text is better for the newcomers who come to meetings . I just want an opinion of what others think ?     8) 8) 8) 8)
Being stuck way up north I read literature do service in my area, region, and homegroup.New friends new ways of life.Left old friend out there same old story they have .Like helping newcomers , I was one once, have to give back what was freely given to me .
